1 Explained: Personality traits.

People who have the number 1 as their Life Path Number love to lead.

They are hard working and full of energy. As the number suggests, they have a strong desire to be #1 in life.

These people are highly critical of themselves and of others. Furthermore, they cannot stand other people's laziness.

This kind of person is driven, inventive and creative. More importantly, they lead by example. However, they can also be arrogant and self-centered at times.

In many cases, they are also too hard on themselves.

How is this number calculated?

To find the Life Path Number for a given date of birth, you have to calculate the root number. In other words, you will need to reduce the number and break it down until you are left with a single digit number.

11, 22 and 33 are the only double-digit numbers that are allowed. This is because they are seen as master numbers.

An example using January 4th, 1643.

Take a look at the following example.

1. Reduce the year 1643 down into one digit.

Let's start with the year, which is 1643. We need to break this number down into one digit or one of the master numbers (11, 22 or 33).

In order to do that, we can "break" the numbers in 1643 apart and then do some simple addition.

1 + 6 + 4 + 3 = 14

However, this still leaves us with two digits. Therefore, we will need to break 14 down even further.

1 + 4 = 5

As you can see, we are now left with 5.

2. Reduce the month.

Now, let's move onto the month, which is 1 (January).

As you can see, 1 is already a single-digit number. As a result, we do not need to reduce it.

So far, we have the number 5 for the year and the number 1 for the month. Now, we will need to move onto the next step and break down the day.

3. Reduce the day of the month into a single-digit as well.

In the case of January 4th, 1643, the day of the month is obviously 4.

4 is already a single digit. This means that we can leave it as it is. We can simply move onto the final step.

Final Step: Add the three numbers together and then calculate the Life Path Number.

We now have 5 for the year, 1 for the month and 4 for the day. Now, let's the calculate the final result, which will be our Life Path Number.

Start off by adding the three numbers together.

5 + 1 + 4 = 10

Because 10 is a two-digit number, we still need to reduce it even further.

1 + 0 = 1

And that's it! We have now calculated the "root number".

We can now conclude that 1 is the Life Path Number for January 4th, 1643.
