4 Explained: Personality traits.

People who have the number 4 as their Life Path Number are hardworking.

They are serious, determined, practical and disciplined. Essentially, they are the worker bee of society.

The 4 likes organization and will approach their problems with a proper plan in place. They are down-to-earth and will often have a never-ending to-do list.

This kind of person can find it difficult to switch off and relax. They can also be stubborn and judgmental at times.

Another issue with the 4 is that they will sometimes stick to their plan even if it isn't working or there are better opportunities elsewhere.

How is this number calculated?

To find the Life Path Number for a given date of birth, you have to calculate the root number. In other words, you will need to reduce the number and break it down until you are left with a single digit number.

11, 22 and 33 are the only double-digit numbers that are allowed. This is because they are seen as master numbers.

An example using January 14th, 1969.

Take a look at the following example.

1. Reduce the year 1969 down into one digit.

Let's start with the year, which is 1969. We need to break this number down into one digit or one of the master numbers (11, 22 or 33).

In order to do that, we can "break" the numbers in 1969 apart and then do some simple addition.

1 + 9 + 6 + 9 = 25

However, this still leaves us with two digits. Therefore, we will need to break 25 down even further.

2 + 5 = 7

As you can see, we are now left with 7.

2. Reduce the month.

Now, let's move onto the month, which is 1 (January).

As you can see, 1 is already a single-digit number. As a result, we do not need to reduce it.

So far, we have the number 7 for the year and the number 1 for the month. Now, we will need to move onto the next step and break down the day.

3. Reduce the day of the month into a single-digit as well.

In the case of January 14th, 1969, the day of the month is obviously 14.

1 + 4 = 5

This leaves us with the number 5

5 is a single-digit number, which means that we do not need to reduce it any further.

Final Step: Add the three numbers together and then calculate the Life Path Number.

We now have 7 for the year, 1 for the month and 5 for the day. Now, let's the calculate the final result, which will be our Life Path Number.

Start off by adding the three numbers together.

7 + 1 + 5 = 13

Because 13 is a two-digit number, we still need to reduce it even further.

1 + 3 = 4

And that's it! We have now calculated the "root number".

We can now conclude that 4 is the Life Path Number for January 14th, 1969.
