Great day. I remember I watched a new episode of Kim Possible on that day, which was Virtu-Ron. And I also remember watching a new episode of That's So Raven on that day while I was eating pizza from Giovanni's Pizza. That's So Raven was a great show from my childhood.

I remember hearing the news about John Ritter and Johnny Cash's passings on the morning news show I used to watch with the former's death being a shock as he was in the midst of a comeback with his ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules and there was quite a bit of potential that the show was going to have that TV season.

Take me back to September 12, 2003

Ready for a walk down memory lane?

It is Friday, September 12, 2003. Anyone born today will have the star sign Virgo. People have "that Friday feeling" and are excited for the weekend.

Schools and colleges are starting again, and fall has officially arrived. As a result, temperatures are beginning to cool, and trees are starting to shed their leaves. In America, the song "Shake Ya Tailfeather" by Nelly & P. Diddy is at the top of the singles charts, while "Where Is The Love" by The Black Eyed Peas is the number-one song in the UK. George W. Bush Jnr. is the President of the United States, and the movie Once Upon a Time in Mexico is at the top of the box office.

Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. In technology news, more and more people are beginning to gain access to the Internet. Internet speeds are increasing and MP3 sharing is beginning to threaten the existence of music stores. People are using a software program called LimeWire to share music, software, and videos. Unfortunately, it is also a haven for computer viruses.

Smartphones don't exist yet. There are no Androids or iPhones. Cameras on phones are quickly becoming the norm. However, the photographs that they take are still lacking in quality. It's 2003, so the music charts are being dominated by the likes of 50 Cent, R. Kelly, Sean Paul, 3 Doors Down, Nelly, Evanescence, Chingy and Beyonce.

Internet users are using MSN Messenger and AIM to chat with each other online. A flash animation of badgers singing "badger, badger, badger" has become a viral hit on the Internet. The animation, which loops indefinitely, was published by British animator Jonti Picking in September 2003. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Robert Kardashian, Crash Holly, Jonathan Brandis, and Soulja Slim would all still be alive.

On TV, people are watching popular shows such as "The West Wing", "Star Trek: Enterprise", "Smallville", and "CSI: Miami". Meanwhile, gamers are playing titles such as "Medieval: Total War", "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2", "FIFA Football 2003 ", and "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne". Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "Dexter's Laboratory", "Bear in the Big Blue House", "Static Shock", and "That's So Raven".

Popular toys at the moment include Bratz dolls, What's Her Face (doll), LEGO Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets, and Bionicle LEGO.
