Take me back to November 19th, 2006!

Let's take a walk down memory lane.

The date is November 19th, 2006, and it's a Sunday. Anyone born today will have the star sign Scorpio. People are currently enjoying their weekend. However, because it's a Sunday, some are dreading the week ahead.

In America, Thanksgiven Day of 2006 is just around the corner. It's November, so the evenings are getting darker and the days are getting colder. In America, the song My Love by Justin Timberlake is at the top of the singles charts.

Over in the UK, The Rose by Westlife is the number-one hit song. George W. Bush Jnr. is the President of the United States, and the movie Borat is at the top of the box office. Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

On television, people are watching popular shows such as "ER", "King of the Hill", "Grey's Anatomy", and "How I Met Your Mother". People are using a software program called LimeWire to share music, software, and videos. Unfortunately, it is also a haven for computer viruses. Smartphones don't exist yet. There are no Androids or iPhones.

Cameras on phones have now become the norm. Furthermore, the quality of these cameras is continuing to increase with each new phone release. We are now entering an age where any event can be instantly photographed or recorded. Practically every teenager and adult has a MySpace or Bebo account. It's 2006, so the music charts are being dominated by the likes of Daniel Powter, Sean Paul, Nelly Furtado, James Blunt, Gnarls Barkley, Shakira and Natasha Bedingfield.

A rock music genre called "Emo" is extremely popular at the moment. The genre, which stands for "emotional hardcore", has created a subculture of "Emos" who dye their hair black and wear thick-framed glasses. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as James Brown, Gerald Ford, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Anna Nicole Smith would all still be alive. People are playing video games such as "The Godfather", "Dead Rising", "Microsoft Flight Simulator X", and "Final Fantasy XII".

Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "SpongeBob SquarePants", "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody", "Ben 10", and "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse". Children are playing with toys such as Betty Spaghetty (doll), Bratz dolls, VideoNow (portable player), and the PlayStation 3.
