Take me back to February 19, 2007

Let's take a walk down memory lane.

The date is February 19, 2007, and it's a Monday. Babies who are born today will have the star sign Pisces. The weekend has just passed, so some people are feeling a bit down. Others are tired after partying too much.

Valentine's Day of 2007 has just passed. In America, the song "Say It Right" by Nelly Furtado is at the top of the singles charts, while "Grace Kelly" by Mika is the number-one song in the UK. George W. Bush Jnr. is the President of the United States, and the movie Norbit is at the top of the box office.

Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. On television, people are watching popular shows such as "Punk'd", "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", "CSI: NY", and "The Hills". Practically every teenager and adult has a MySpace or Bebo account.

A rock music genre called "Emo" is extremely popular at the moment. The genre, which stands for "emotional hardcore", has created a subculture of "Emos" who dye their hair black and wear thick-framed glasses. Meanwhile, in technology news, more and more people are beginning to use the Internet on their phones. This transition towards mobile Internet has been aided by the recent roll-out of faster 3G networks and the introduction of larger touchscreen phones. It's 2007, so the music charts are being dominated by the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Sean Kingston, Soulja Boy and Nelly Furtado.

If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Eddie Jamaal Griffin, Luciano Pavarotti, Colin McRae, and Sean Taylor would all still be alive. People are playing video games such as "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter", "The Godfather", "Dead Rising", and "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess". Children and teenagers are watching television shows such as "The Fairly OddParents", "Danny Phantom", "Avatar: The Last Airbender", and "Johnny Test".

Children are playing with toys such as VideoNow (portable player), Magic Glow Doodle Bear, Pixel Chix, and the Nintendo Wii.
