Discussion about this date:

Dean

Poor Crash Holly. Gone 20 years already 😟 I was a big WWF fan during the Attitude Era. He was the hardcore champion and had to defend the belt 24/7. It was hilarious because he'd be ambushed by different wrestlers in random places such as Chuck E. Cheese. He'd then have to win it back by tracking them down and attacking them. He also used to lie about his weight by claiming that he was 400 lbs lol. He'd bring a weighing scales to the ring just to "prove" he was a super heavyweight 🤣 Dead at 32... so young.

Take me back to November 6, 2003

Let's take a stroll down memory lane.

It is Thursday, November 6, 2003. Anyone born today will have the star sign Scorpio. It's November, so the evenings are getting darker and the days are getting colder.

In America, the song "Baby Boy" by Beyonce is at the top of the singles charts, while "Be Faithful" by Fatman Scoop is the number-one song in the UK. George W. Bush Jnr. is the President of the United States, and the movie Scary Movie 3 is at the top of the box office. Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

In technology news, more and more people are beginning to gain access to the Internet. Internet speeds are increasing and MP3 sharing is beginning to threaten the existence of music stores. People are using a software program called LimeWire to share music, software, and videos. Unfortunately, it is also a haven for computer viruses. Smartphones don't exist yet. There are no Androids or iPhones.

Cameras on phones are quickly becoming the norm. However, the photographs that they take are still lacking in quality. It's 2003, so the music charts are being dominated by the likes of 50 Cent, R. Kelly, Sean Paul, 3 Doors Down, Nelly, Evanescence, Chingy and Beyonce. Internet users are using MSN Messenger and AIM to chat with each other online.

A flash animation of badgers singing "badger, badger, badger" has become a viral hit on the Internet. The animation, which loops indefinitely, was published by British animator Jonti Picking in September 2003. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Jonathan Brandis, Soulja Slim, Pat Tillman, and Ronald Reagan would all still be alive. On TV, people are watching popular shows such as "Sex and the City", "The King of Queens", "Andromeda", and "The O.C.".

Meanwhile, gamers are playing titles such as "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City", "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne", "Soulcalibur II", and "SSX 3". Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "That '70s Show", "The Wild Thornberrys", "Dora the Explorer", and "Grounded for Life". Popular toys at the moment include FurReal Friends, LEGO Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets, LEGO Clikits, and Ello Creation System.
