This has so much information and I appreciate everyone who worked on it, but the one thing it didn't have was anything about cars. That makes me sad. I would really like to see an update with some car-related information. For example, "What car came out on this day or closest to this date". Something like that would be amazing, please.

Take me back to April 14, 2004

Ready for a walk down memory lane?

It is Wednesday, April 14, 2004. Anyone born today will have the star sign Aries. It is "Hump Day", so many are beginning to think about the weekend ahead.

The summer of 2004 is drawing closer, and temperatures have started to rise. In America, the song "Yeah" by Usher is at the top of the singles charts, while "5 Colours In Her Hair" by McFly is the number-one song in the UK. George W. Bush Jnr. is the President of the United States, and the movie Passion of the Christ is at the top of the box office.

Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. In technology news, more and more people are beginning to gain access to the Internet. Internet speeds are increasing and MP3 sharing is beginning to threaten the existence of music stores. People are using a software program called LimeWire to share music, software, and videos. Unfortunately, it is also a haven for computer viruses.

Smartphones don't exist yet. There are no Androids or iPhones. Cameras on phones are quickly becoming the norm. However, the photographs that they take are still lacking in quality. Internet users are using MSN Messenger and AIM to chat with each other online.

A flash animation of badgers singing "badger, badger, badger" has become a viral hit on the Internet. The animation, which loops indefinitely, was published by British animator Jonti Picking in September 2003. It's 2004, so the music charts are being dominated by the likes of Usher, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, OutKast, Mario Winans, the Terror Squad and Ciara. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Pat Tillman, Ronald Reagan, Ray Charles, and Marlon Brando would all still be alive.

On TV, people are watching popular shows such as "Charmed", "Gilmore Girls", "Fear Factor", and "Deadwood". Meanwhile, gamers are playing titles such as "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic", "The Simpsons Hit & Run", "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time", and "Rome: Total War". Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "7th Heaven", "Caillou", "Invader Zim", and "That's So Raven".

Popular toys at the moment include Hokey Pokey Elmo, LEGO Clikits, Mighty Beanz, and RoboSapien (toy robot).
