I still remember That's So Raven being big back in the days before Hannah Montana came around as that was one of those shows that you could not get away from on Disney Channel in those days. It's also sad to see what has been going in the personal lives of the actors who played Eddie and Cory in the years since the show ended.

Right before Hannah Montana came into both worlds in the mid-2000s, That's So Raven was the Disney show that took the mantle following the end of Lizzie McGuire (which was about to wrap up around this time.)

Take me back to January 17, 2003

Let's take a walk down memory lane.

The date is January 17, 2003, and it's a Friday. Babies who are born today will have the star sign Capricorn. Many people have "that Friday feeling" and are looking forward to the weekend.

The holiday season of 2002 seems like a distant memory. New year's resolutions are already being abandoned, and many are eagerly awaiting their first paycheck after Christmas In America, the song "Lose Yourself" by Eminem is at the top of the singles charts, while "Sound Of The Underground" by Girls Aloud is the number-one song in the UK. George W. Bush Jnr. is the President of the United States, and the movie Kangaroo Jack is at the top of the box office.

Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. On television, people are watching popular shows such as "Friends", "Oz", "Stargate SG-1", and "The Osbournes". In technology news, more and more people are beginning to gain access to the Internet. Internet speeds are increasing and MP3 sharing is beginning to threaten the existence of music stores.

People are using a software program called LimeWire to share music, software, and videos. Unfortunately, it is also a haven for computer viruses. Smartphones don't exist yet. There are no Androids or iPhones. Cameras on phones are quickly becoming the norm. However, the photographs that they take are still lacking in quality.

It's 2003, so the music charts are being dominated by the likes of 50 Cent, R. Kelly, Sean Paul, 3 Doors Down, Nelly, Evanescence, Chingy and Beyonce. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Lana Clarkson, Curt Hennig, Fred Rogers, and Camoflauge would all still be alive. People are playing video games such as "RuneScape", "Animal Crossing", "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4", and "Ratchet & Clank".

Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "Friends", "Little Bear", "My Wife and Kids", and "Invader Zim". Children are playing with toys such as Gogo's Crazy Bones, Bratz dolls, Micropets, and Bratz Stylin' Salon 'N' Spa.
