Take me back to April 7, 2003

Let's take a stroll down memory lane.

The date is April 7, 2003, and it's a Monday. Anyone born today will have the star sign Aries. The weekend has just passed, so some people are feeling a bit down. Others are tired after partying too much.

The summer of 2003 is drawing closer, and temperatures have started to rise. In America, the song "In Da Club" by 50 Cent is at the top of the singles charts, while "Make Luv" by Room 5 is the number-one song in the UK. George W. Bush Jnr. is the President of the United States, and the movie Phone Booth is at the top of the box office.

Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. On television, people are watching popular shows such as "JAG", "That '70s Show", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", and "Without a Trace". In technology news, more and more people are beginning to gain access to the Internet. Internet speeds are increasing and MP3 sharing is beginning to threaten the existence of music stores.

People are using a software program called LimeWire to share music, software, and videos. Unfortunately, it is also a haven for computer viruses. Smartphones don't exist yet. There are no Androids or iPhones. Cameras on phones are quickly becoming the norm. However, the photographs that they take are still lacking in quality.

It's 2003, so the music charts are being dominated by the likes of 50 Cent, R. Kelly, Sean Paul, 3 Doors Down, Nelly, Evanescence, Chingy and Beyonce. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Camoflauge, Barry White, Bob Hope, and Charles Bronson would all still be alive. People are playing video games such as "Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven", "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4", "FIFA Football 2003 ", and "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell".

Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "Dexter's Laboratory", "Bob the Builder", "Little Bill", and "Lizzie McGuire". Children are playing with toys such as Betty Spaghetty (doll), Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, KG Racer automites, and LEGO Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets.
