When did Ted Bundy kill his first victim?

Serial killer Ted Bundy killed his first victim 47 years ago.

On February 1, 1974, Bundy entered Lynda Ann Healy's home in Seattle and then bludgeoned her to death.

The following year, in 1975, some of her skeletal remains were found at a burial site on Taylor Mountain in Washington.

Investigators believe that Bundy may have started his murders before 1974. However, Lynda Ann Healy is his first confirmed killing.

His links to earlier cases are circumstantial and have yet to be proven.
