When did the PS4 come out?

The Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) came out more than 9 years ago.

The console was first released in North America on November 15, 2013.

Then, two weeks later, on November 29, 2013, it was released in Europe, Australia and South America.

The PS4 wasn't released in Japan until the end of February, 2014.

By the end of 2013, Sony had sold more than four million units. Within 12 months, that figure had risen to 30 million.

Launch titles included Battlefield 4, Killzone Shadow Fall, Call of Duty: Ghosts, DriveClub and The Witness.
