At the time, many joked that the iPad was a stupid idea because it basically looked like a larger version of the iPhone. I'm guessing they've sold enough at this point to justify it. Still one of the most popular tablets on the market.

In America, the song "Rude Boy" by Rihanna is at the top of the singles charts, while "Telephone" by Lady GaGa ft Beyonce is the number-one song in the UK. Barack Obama is the President of the United States, and the movie How to Train Your Dragon is at the top of the box office.

Gordon Brown is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. On television, people are watching popular shows such as "Prison Break", "The Big Bang Theory", "Real Housewives of New York City", and "Big Fat Gypsy Weddings". Video rental stores such as Blockbuster are continuing to close their doors at the moment. Sadly, it seems as though they will be unable to compete with online streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu.

It's 2010, so the music charts are being dominated by artists such as Kesha, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Eminem and Bruno Mars.
